Harry Roth took up photography in the depression, an expensive hobby in lean times. My grandmother was not thrilled. A bit like Norman Rockwell with a camera; no matter what lens he used, each seemed rose tinted.
Snow in Plattsburgh was serious stuff. Lucky David did not have to climb, but he loved sliding down the hill.
